Meet the new Research and Instruction Librarians at Pius
Please welcome two new subject librarians in the Research and Instruction Department at Pius Library, Amanda Albert and Lee A. Cummings. Amanda is the new Instructional Services Librarian and the library liaison with English with Academic Purposes and the School for Professional Studies. Lee is the new STEM Librarian liaising with Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Physics, and Parks College.
Both new faculty librarians bring a deep understanding of their individual liaison areas, broad academic library experience, commitment to the library profession, and a passion for service.
Amanda is a St. Louis native, but comes to Saint Louis University from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Lee, from Toledo, Ohio, comes to the University from Binghamton University in New York.
Both Amanda and Lee hit the library ground running creating informative research guides, teaching engaging information literacy sessions, presenting library research at national and regional conferences, and meeting individually with students and faculty.
