Facility Updates Continue at the Medical Center Library

Even before the vendor finished installing new furniture and chairs at the Medical Center Library, students flocked to use them — confirming the need for updated work spaces with table top task lighting, easy to access electrical and USB power, and comfortable seating. 

“Our students spend long hours in the Library so it is important that we provide them with comfortable, functional work spaces with good lighting and the ability to charge laptops and mobile devices,” noted Medical Center Library Director Patrick McCarthy.   

These updates are part of comprehensive plans to make the Medical Center Library a welcoming and up-to-date environment for quiet study, research, and information assistance. Additional updates are planned.
