New Alumni Magazines Digital Collection

In a cooperative project between Archives & Manuscripts, the Saint Louis University Libraries Digitization Center, and University Marketing and Communications, we are proud to announce the library’s latest digital collection — “Saint Louis University Alumni Magazines.”

The university’s first alumni magazine was published in 1926 as Alumni News of St. Louis University, changing its title in 1954 to Saint Louis University Magazine. From 1976 it has been known and continues to be published as Universitas. These magazines — more than 350 issues — preserve a wealth of information about the history of the university, its faculty, students, and alumnae/i through hundreds of photos, articles, interviews, presidents’ reports, and more. You can access this vibrant record of the life of Saint Louis University through the library’s Digital Collections.

On the cover: Professor [now] Emeritus Clarence Miller in 1974.
